Connie Mayer is a Clinical Professor at Albany Law School and holds the Raymond & Ella Smith Distinguished Professor title. She has been a faculty member since 1986, serving as Director of the Disabilities Law Clinic (1986-1992), Director of the Clinical Program (1992-2001), and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (since 2005). Her career spans legal practice in criminal/civil law and leadership roles in clinical legal education expansion.

Scientific recognition includes the 2011 Excellence in Teaching Award. She serves on the New York State Bar Association Committee on Legal Education & Admission to the Bar.
