Connie Shui-Yi Chow is an Associate Researcher Senior at the Center for Certification and Competency-Based Education (C3BE) at the University of Kansas. She holds a joint appointment at the School of Education and Human Sciences, where she focuses on creating intellectually challenging, justice-oriented, and joyful learning environments through partnerships with public schools, universities, communities, and industries. Her work emphasizes equity, innovation, and practical applications in science and math education.

Chow's research integrates molecular biology with educational praxis, specializing in competency-based learning models and justice-focused pedagogical design. Prior to joining KU, she collaborated on developing an M.Ed. program centered on equity, innovation, and design principles.
