Concepción Zaforteza Lallemand

Dr. Concepción Zaforteza Lallemand is a tenured Associate Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands, affiliated with the Faculty of Nursing and Physiotherapy and its Department. Her teaching spans undergraduate and graduate programs, including Clinical Management (Medicine Degree), Management of Nursing Services (Nursing Degree), and courses on Designing Improvement Projects in the Health Sector and Clinical and Professional Leadership in the Master's Degree in Health Research and Innovation.

• Research Focus: Enhancing care for critical care patients' relatives through patient/family-centered care.
• Methodologies: Participatory Action Research (PAR) for knowledge transfer and clinical practice change.

She is a member of two research groups:

• Critical Health Research Group (GICS-IUNICS)
• CurES Research Group at the Balearic Islands Health Research Institute (IdISBa).
