Collin M. Gilstrap is an Associate Professor and Neff Research Fellow at the John B. and Lillian E. Neff Department of Finance, part of The University of Toledo's College of Business and Innovation. He holds a PhD in Finance from The University of Alabama (2017) and a BS in Financial Management from Clemson University (2012).
His research focuses on financial markets, mergers & acquisitions, real estate finance, and strategic decision-making under uncertainty. Notable areas include options trading dynamics, corporate tax strategies, nonprofit financial reporting, and cybersecurity adoption frameworks for organizations. His work bridges theoretical finance with practical applications in healthcare, technology, and real estate sectors.
Recent publications explore topics such as leveraged ETFs' volatility impacts (2024), tax-policy effects on corporate distributions (2023), and cross-border M&A strategies (2022).
