Colleen Robledo Greene is a Lecturer and the Digital Scholarship Librarian at the Pollak Library, California State University, Fullerton. She holds an MLIS from San Jose State University and a certificate in genealogical research from Boston University. She teaches INFO 284 – Seminar in Archives and Records Management with a focus on Genealogy.

Her research and teaching interests span academic libraries, digital history, genealogy, government documents, information systems, digital and virtual libraries, archives, information literacy, and serving multicultural populations. She integrates digital tools, emerging technologies, and storytelling into her genealogy education, with specializations in Mexican-American, Latin American, and Southwest U.S. genealogical research.
Colleen is a nationally recognized genealogy educator and received the 2023 Fellow Award from the Texas State Genealogical Society for her transformative contributions to Hispanic research. Her professional experience includes roles as Marketing Librarian, Systems Librarian, Digital Literacy Librarian, and Digital Humanities Specialist at the Pollak Library.

She advises and mentors students through her teaching and consultation services, focusing on digital scholarship and research enhancement. She has contributed to curriculum development in archives and genealogical research and supports digital fluency across campus. She is actively involved in professional outreach and instruction, promoting digital scholarship, information literacy, and inclusive research methodologies. Her work emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and the use of technology to enhance historical and genealogical inquiry.
