Colleen Loo-Gross is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She serves as Assistant Director in the Jager Academic Society and focuses on improving healthcare access for Spanish-speaking populations in Kansas.
- Education: BA in Biochemistry and BS in Chemical Science from Kansas State University, MD and MPH from the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
Her research centers on language access disparities, global health, and maternal/child health. She leads initiatives funded by the Office of Minority Health and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to enhance care for individuals with limited English proficiency.
- Scientific Honors: Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).
Dr. Loo-Gross previously practiced full-spectrum family medicine at PCC Community Wellness Center in Illinois after completing residency and fellowship training in Rochester, NY, and Oak Park, IL.
