Colleen Horn

Colleen Horn is a Lecturer in Education and Coordinator of Education Studies Work Placement at Trinity College Dublin. She holds a Doctorate in Education (D.Ed.) from Trinity College, alongside advanced degrees in Inclusive Education, Literacy, and Finance. Her work focuses on teacher education emphasizing place-based pedagogies, clinical practices, and heritage language preservation. She leads modules on professional studies and work placements for B.Ed., PME, and BScES programs.

Professional roles include ELSTA’s National Executive and peer reviewing for leading journals.

Grant history includes a Teaching Council of Ireland research grant (2008-2014). She actively contributes to academic communities through AERA, NYSOBE, and the Irish Teaching Council.
