Coen Hird

Dr Coen Hird is a Research Fellow at the School of the Environment, The University of Queensland. Their work bridges ecological and evolutionary biology with anticolonial scientific praxis, emphasizing Indigenous rights and knowledge systems. They completed a PhD in 2024 at UQ, focusing on amphibian declines and UV radiation impacts.
