Clifton Watt

Dr. Clifton Watt is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. He practices at the Asian Heart and Vascular Center in San Francisco, providing specialized care in cardiology and internal medicine.

Dr. Watt earned his BS in Computer Systems Engineering from Stanford University and his MD from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. His postgraduate training includes an Internal Medicine residency at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, a General Internal Medicine fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and a Cardiology fellowship at the University of California, Davis.

His clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of cardiovascular diseases, with special interest in cardiac imaging technologies including echocardiography, cardiac CT, vascular ultrasound, and nuclear cardiology. His research focuses on transcatheter valve repair techniques, heart failure mechanisms, and genomic approaches to understanding cardiovascular disease.
