Clayton M Pratt

Capt Clayton M. Pratt is an Instructor in Asset Management at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), affiliated with The Civil Engineer School. He holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and the University of Louisville, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Clemson University. His professional roles include Readiness & Emergency Management Flight Officer, Project Development Team Lead, and Project Programmer in various Air Force bases.

Pratt teaches courses such as WMGT 301 (Introduction to Asset Management), WMGT 417 (Activity Management), and WMGT 436 (Requirements & Optimization). He is a certified Professional Engineer (PE) in South Carolina and focuses on research areas including infrastructure inspection, machine learning applications, and data analysis. His expertise supports Air Force engineering education and operational readiness through continuing education programs.
