معرفی
Claudio Rivetti serves as a Full Professor in the Department of Chemical, Life and Environmental Sustainability Sciences at the University of Parma, where he teaches Molecular Biology and Structural Biology courses for Bachelor's and Master's programs in Biology and Biomolecular Sciences. His consistent teaching record spans from the 2013/2014 academic year through the upcoming 2025/2026 term across multiple cohorts.
His research focuses on Molecular Biology and Structural Biology with specialization in Genomics, Enzymology, and Protein Science. Key interests include enzyme function in phosphonate catabolism, RNA:DNA triplex structures, membrane-permeabilizing peptides, and evolutionary adaptations of metabolic enzymes like uricase. He employs advanced techniques such as atomic force microscopy and genomic analysis to investigate these complex biological systems.
Recent publications (2023-2025) reveal a diverse research trajectory spanning fundamental biochemical mechanisms, evolutionary adaptations in reptilian physiology, and practical applications in university resource management. His work bridges theoretical molecular biology with tangible solutions for academic infrastructure.
Professor Rivetti holds regular office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays (3:00-5:00 PM) and serves as the reference instructor (Docente di riferimento) for the Master's Degree program in Biomolecular, Genomic and Cellular Sciences since 2013/2014, demonstrating sustained commitment to graduate education and program leadership.
