Claudio Pais is an Assistant Professor at ISCTE-IUL, specializing in Management and Accounting. He teaches financial accounting in undergraduate and master's programs and has held leadership roles as director of these programs. His professional experience includes teaching positions at ISG, NOVA-SBE, and ULHT-ECEO.
As a researcher, he is affiliated with the Financial and Management Accounting research group at BRU-ISCTE. He has authored books on financial accounting and served as a trainer for the Portuguese Association of Chartered Accountants (OROC), where he taught preparation courses for Chartered Accountants (ROC).
His academic work focuses on financial and management accounting, with contributions to educational materials and research. He holds a PhD in Management with a specialization in Accounting.
