Claudio Cerdeiriña Alvarez

Claudio Cerdeiriña Alvarez is a Full-Time Professor in the Department of Applied Physics at the School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering, University of Vigo. His research focuses on thermophysics and phase transitions in fluid systems, particularly within the FA4 Thermophysics Laboratory at the Institute of Physics and Aerospace Sciences.

Claudio earned his Ph.D. from the University of Vigo in 2000, defending a thesis titled Critical behavior of binary liquid mixtures: nitroalkane + alcohol systems, supervised by Dr. Luis Romaní Martínez and Dr. Enrique Carballo Gonzalez. He works at the Ourense campus and is affiliated with the Institute of Physics and Aerospace Sciences.
