معرفی
Claudio Arezzo is a Full Professor at the Department of Mathematical, Physical and Computer Sciences, University of Parma. His research spans two primary themes: the study of special submanifolds in Kähler-Einstein manifolds and the existence of balanced/extremal metrics on complex manifolds. He has published extensively in journals such as Compositio Math., Journal of Algebraic Geometry, and Communications in Mathematical Physics.
Research interests include:
- Differential Geometry
- Complex Geometry
- Geometric Analysis
- Kähler Manifolds
- Minimal Surfaces
- Einstein Metrics
His recent articles explore topics like conic Kähler-Einstein metrics, generalized connected sum constructions, and the curvature properties of orbifolds. Collaborative work with G. La Nave and F. Pacard extends classical results on minimal surfaces and Kähler metrics. He has served as a referee for top journals including Inventiones Math. and GAFA, and co-organized international workshops at CIRM and Banff.
