Claudia Scheimbauer is a tenure-track Professor at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), affiliated with the Department of Mathematics and the Topology research group.
Research centers on mathematical physics, algebraic topology, and functorial field theories using homotopy theory. Key areas include factorization algebras, derived symplectic geometry, and higher categorical structures.
She co-organizes workshops on stratified spaces and factorization homology, and leads the SFB/CRC 1624 project on higher structures.
