Claudia Noack is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Bonn. She is affiliated with the Institute for Finance and Statistics. Previously, she served as a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow at Nuffield College and the Department of Economics, University of Oxford (2021–2023). Her research focuses on Econometrics, with an emphasis on Causal Inference and Nonparametric Econometrics.
Education includes a PhD in Economics from the University of Mannheim (2015–2021), with visiting studies at Yale University (2019), UC Berkeley (2016–2017), and the Toulouse School of Economics (2014). Earlier degrees include an M.Sc. in Economic Research (2018) and B.Sc. in Economics (2012–2015) from Mannheim.
Her research explores advanced econometric methods, particularly in Regression Discontinuity Designs, sensitivity analysis for causal estimates, and nonparametric techniques.
