Claudia M. Neuhauser

Claudia M. Neuhauser is the Associate Vice President/Associate Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology Transfer at the University of Houston's Division of Research. She holds a Professorship in the Department of Mathematics. Previously, she served at the University of Minnesota in roles including Associate Vice President for Research and Director of Research Computing, leading initiatives like the University of Minnesota Informatics Institute and Minnesota Supercomputing Institute. Educated at Universität Heidelberg (Diplom in Mathematics, 1988) and Cornell University (Ph.D., 1990), she is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professor and fellow of AAAS and AMS. Her research bridges mathematics and biology, focusing on spatial stochastic processes, theoretical ecology, and statistical genomics.
