Claudia Biniossek

Dr. Claudia Biniossek is a Senior Researcher at the TIB Leibniz Information Centre for Technology and Natural Sciences, affiliated with the Data Science & Digital Libraries Research Group. She holds a Ph.D. in Social and Economic Psychology and a diploma in Economics from the University of Cologne. Her work focuses on integrating theories, methodologies, and data infrastructures to enable transdisciplinary research, particularly in economics, social sciences, and behavioral sciences. She co-leads the METHODS consortium and contributes to the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI).

• Leads user-centric development of the Open Research Knowledge Graph (ORKG) to unify heterogeneous research data.
• Affiliated with the CEREB at the University of Erfurt and actively involved in FAIR Digital Objects and Canonical Workflow for Research (CWFR) frameworks.
• Previously managed the x-hub project, establishing repositories like x-econ and x-science for behavioral economics and experimental social sciences.

Her research emphasizes experimental data analysis from economics, sociology, and neuroscience to explore human behavior principles. She collaborates internationally, including co-authoring the Swiss National Research Data Strategy report.
