Clara Stegehuis

Clara Stegehuis is an Associate Professor in the Mathematics of Operations Research group at the University of Twente. Her research sits at the intersection of probability theory, graph theory, and stochastic networks, with applications in network science, physics, and computer science.

Her research focuses on epidemic spreading/percolation processes on random graph models, network motif analysis, asymptotic network properties (degree-degree correlations, clustering), and geometric networks. She investigates how network structures influence robustness and connectivity patterns in complex systems like social media, internet infrastructure, and biological networks.
