Dr Claire Wright is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Science, Technology and Health at York St John University. She joined in 2018, bringing over 20 years of cross-sector experience spanning academia, the NHS, industry, and compulsory education. Her research focuses on the microbiome of hospital built environments. She leads microbiology modules including 'Introduction to Microbiology and Immunology' and 'Medical Microbiology,' and coordinates student placements with NHS and industrial partners.
