Associate Professor Claire O'Reilly is an academic at the Sydney Pharmacy School, University of Sydney, specializing in mental health pharmacy and improving healthcare outcomes for individuals with severe mental illness. She holds a BPharm (Hons) and PhD, and is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (FPS).
Her research focuses on enhancing pharmacists' roles in mental health care, including suicide prevention, depression screening, and stigma reduction. Key roles include leading a large partnership program addressing physical health in primary care for severe mental illness patients and co-leading a trial for depression screening in older adults. She has held leadership roles such as National Vice-President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and membership on the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC).
