Dr. Claire-Marie Brisson is Preceptor in Romance Languages and Literatures (French) at Harvard University, serving as Course Head for French 30, 40, and 64. She holds a Ph.D. in French Cultural History from University of Virginia, M.A. from Wayne State University, and B.A. from University of Michigan-Dearborn with minors in German and Political Science.

- Media ecology and podcast production
- Cultural cartography of waterways
- Second language pedagogy innovation
Her interdisciplinary work connects language acquisition with cultural studies through experiential learning frameworks. As creator of The North American Francophone Podcast and contributor to Radio-Canada, she amplifies diverse Francophone voices across Québec, Ontario, and the Great Lakes region. Current projects examine relationships between linguistic policy, environmental systems, and cultural sustainability in North American Francophone communities.
