Dr. Claire Kelly serves as a Teaching Assistant Professor of Small Animal Practice at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Arkansas State University, a position she assumed in June 2025.

Education:

• Undergraduate studies with intermittent work as a veterinary assistant at a clinic in Brookhaven, Mississippi
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Mississippi State University (enrolled 2001)

Clinical Expertise:

• 20 years in private practice in Hot Springs, Arkansas
• Practice ownership for over 17 years
• Shelter spay/neuter surgery volunteer experience
• Externships in emergency clinics, internal medicine, and orthopedic surgery
