Claire Holderman is a Senior Lecturer in Spanish at the Reubin O'D. Askew Department of Government within the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of West Florida (UWF). With over a decade of experience as a college professor, she teaches courses in Spanish language, writing, and college success, while also developing live and online courses for first- and second-year Spanish students.
- Degrees: M.A. in Teaching of Languages (Spanish) from the University of Southern Mississippi
Her research interests focus on Spanish linguistics, language education, and promoting diversity in higher education. She has demonstrated a commitment to community service and enhancing educational accessibility. Holderman also actively engages in creating innovative teaching materials for online and in-person instruction.
Claire is based at UWF's Pensacola campus in Building 50, Room 122. Outside academia, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, playing tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
