Claire Gough is a Research Fellow at the Caring Futures Institute and an Associate Member of the Flinders Digital Health Research Centre within Flinders University. As a registered physiotherapist with a PhD in Clinical Rehabilitation, her work bridges health services research, policy development, and technology-enabled care solutions for older adults.

Her research focuses on digital health innovations for reablement care, social isolation prevention, and transitional care systems for aging populations. Recent publications highlight her expertise in meta-analytical methods (e.g., 2025 British Journal of Sports Medicine review) and cross-sectional study designs (e.g., 2021 BMC Public Health GPS-based mobility analysis). She also contributes to policy development through the Home modifications for ageing well project (2023-2025).
