Dr. Claire Golledge is a Lecturer in Education at the University of Sydney, affiliated with the Sydney School of Education and Social Work. She coordinates HSIE (Humanities and Social Sciences) curriculum subjects for secondary education, focusing on Geography, Legal Studies, and related disciplines. Her research explores teacher professional learning, the history of schooling, Aboriginal education, and civics curriculum development. She leads the Culturally Nourishing School Leadership project, aiming to improve educational outcomes for Indigenous communities through teacher professional development.
Education: BA (History Hons)/LLB, Grad Dip Ed, PhD (Education). Awards include the 2025 Sydney Policy Lab EMCR Impact Award and 2024 Vice Chancellor's Early Career Teacher of the Year. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and serves on the Australian Council for Student Voice Board.
Research interests include teacher practice architectures, equity in education, and historical curriculum design.
