Claire Delphine Tourmen Perron is a Lecturer in the French Department at the University of California, Berkeley, and Director of the Center of Excellence in French & Francophone Studies. She is affiliated with the 'Training and Professional Learning' Lab (AgroSup Dijon, CNAM Paris, Ensta Bretagne, France) and the 'ADEF' Lab (Aix-Marseille University, France). Her roles include leading the 'French For Politics' course since 2022 and developing professionalizing pathways for French learners at UC Berkeley with support from the French Embassy in the US/Face Foundation grant.

Her research focuses on program evaluation, with experience in EU-funded projects and collaborations with national/local organizations in France.
As a reviewer for journals like Evaluation, American Journal of Evaluation, and Revue Française d’Administration Publique, her work bridges education policy and applied research. She has taught program evaluation at Sciences Po Lyon, Sciences Po Rennes, and other institutions.
