Research Interests: His work integrates Quaternary Geology, Karst Systems, and Anthropogenic Impact Analysis to study landscape evolution. Key areas include coastal geomorphology in NW India, sinkhole mechanisms in Sicilian evaporites, and 3D numerical modeling of geological hazards. Recent publications analyze thin shell construction techniques and historical architectural forms in Sicily.
Notable Trends: Over 15 years, his research spans climate-tectonic interactions, anthropogenic geomorphology, and karst conservation. The CARG Geological Mapping Project and Western Sicily field studies recur across his work. He frequently employs multidisciplinary methodologies combining field surveys, numerical modeling, and stratigraphic analysis.
