Ciprian Radavoi

Ciprian Radavoi is an Associate Professor of Law at the School of Law and Justice, University of Southern Queensland. He holds an LLB from the University of Bucharest (1999), an MAsianStudies from Lund University (2008), and a JD from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE, 2014). Prior to academia, he served as a diplomat in Asia and Africa. His expertise spans International Law, Human Rights, Global Governance, and Jurisprudence. He has authored numerous scholarly works, including Australian Law in Context, and has been actively involved in supervising doctoral and master’s research in areas like distributive justice and legal advocacy in ASEAN regions.

Radavoi’s research focuses on international legal frameworks, corporate social responsibility, and the intersection of law with societal issues such as pandemics, climate change, and technology in education. Notable works include analyses of vaccination mandates, athlete activism, and the ethical implications of AI in academia. His contributions bridge theoretical scholarship with practical applications, emphasizing intergenerational justice and community rights.

His recent publications address topics like corporate accountability in disaster zones, the decolonization of legal education, and the ethical dilemmas of grade inflation.
