Cinzia Menapace

Cinzia Menapace serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Trento, where she teaches core courses including Laboratory of Metallurgy, Materials and Technologies for Sustainable Industry, and Circular Economy for Materials Processing.

Her research spans advanced materials engineering with emphasis on:

• Metallurgical processes (heat treatment, thermal analysis, microstructure characterization)
• Powder metallurgy techniques (spark plasma sintering, liquid phase sintering)
• Nanostructured materials development and mechanical alloying
• Sustainable industrial applications including circular economy frameworks
• Material strengthening mechanisms and hot workability optimization
