Cinzia Greco

Cinzia Greco is a Research Fellow at the University of Manchester's Centre for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine (CHSTM). She holds a PhD in Health, Population and Social Policies from the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS). Her work bridges medical anthropology, gender studies, and the history of medicine, with a focus on cancer, medical uncertainty, and neurodiversity. Currently, she leads a Wellcome Trust-funded project on medical uncertainty in conditions like fibromyalgia and Long Covid. She has held prestigious fellowships, including the Newton International Fellowship and Wellcome Trust Research Fellowship. Greco also co-edits the journal Anthropologie&Santé and coordinates the Research Skill Module, Science and Society.
