Dr. Cindy Woods is a Research Fellow at the Health Research Institute, University of Canberra, where she manages a Movember-funded mental health evaluation project spanning 15 initiatives across seven countries. Previously, she worked at the University of Melbourne and La Trobe University. Her expertise includes project management, data analysis, and evaluating health services, particularly in Indigenous health, trauma, and mental health resilience. She has contributed to grants addressing First Nations communities' trauma responses during crises and the impact of Australia's 2019-20 bushfires on Aboriginal mental health.

Research Interests: Public health equity, Indigenous health systems, mental health interventions for first responders, trauma-informed care, and epidemiological analysis of health disparities. Her work aligns with UN SDGs related to education and health equity.
