Cihan Ciftci

Cihan Ciftci is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Abdullah Gul University, Turkey. His research focuses on structural reliability, probabilistic methods in engineering, tree dynamics, and fragility analysis of structures under environmental loads. He holds a PhD from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (2012), and degrees from Bogazici University (BSc 2007, MSc 2009).

• Principal Investigator (PI) for TUBITAK-funded projects on fragility curves for bridges and tree structures (2014).
• Authored 3 SCI-indexed journal articles and multiple conference proceedings.
