Dr. Cigdem Sengul is a Reader in Computer Science at Brunel University London's College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences, where she leads research on Internet of Things security and serves as Athena SWAN SAT Lead and College-level Equality, Diversity, Inclusion Champion. She holds a PhD and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BSc from Istanbul Technical University.
Her research focuses on trustworthy systems in IoT, with expertise spanning:

- Wireless network optimization and experimental deployments
