Ciann L. Wilson serves as Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Community-Based Research, Ethics and Well-Being at Wilfrid Laurier University's Faculty of Science, Department of Psychology in Waterloo, Ontario. Her work centers on amplifying Black, Indigenous, and people of colour community narratives through research to advance health equity.

Her methodology prioritizes community-led knowledge production to challenge systemic inequities in public health systems.
