Chung-Wei Huang serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Media and Communication Studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), teaching filmmaking, screenwriting, and media literacy courses while integrating her professional filmmaking expertise into pedagogy.
Her educational foundation includes an MFA in Film and Media Arts from Temple University, where she received the Presidential Fellowship.
Huang's creative research centers on storytelling through narrative films and dance cinematography that examines personal struggles and social commentary, exploring human connections and lived experiences with nuanced perspectives.
