Christos-Efthymios Kotselidis

Christos-Efthymios Kotselidis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Manchester. His work focuses on runtime systems, heterogeneous computing, and high-performance computing. He leads research in optimizing Java programs using frameworks like TornadoVM and explores GPU acceleration for cryptography (FHE). His contributions include advancements in vectorization for RISC-V architectures and memory analysis of Java benchmarks.

Education: PhD in Computer Science (2011) from the University of Manchester, supervised by Prof. Steve Furber and Dr. Chris Kirkham, with a thesis on Distributed Software Transactional Memory.
