Christopher Nelson, PhD, serves as the Doctoral Statistics Coach and an instructor in the Leadership, Research, and Foundations Ph.D. program at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). He holds a PhD in Quantitative Research Methods from the University of Denver (2006), an M.A. in Economics from Old Dominion University (1996), and a B.A. in Computer Science from Boston University (1992). With over 18 years of university-level teaching experience, he specializes in multivariate statistics, data visualization, and data science.

He currently serves as Principal Consultant at Nelson Consulting, LLC, and has previously served on the board of the Kibera Kids Foundation. His presentations address topics such as project risk reduction and software engineering processes.
