Christopher McDowell

Christopher McDowell is the Joseph H. Collie Professor of Chemical Engineering at Virginia Tech. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech (1992) and a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University (1998). His research focuses on Engineering Education, Bioprocessing, and Sustainability, with recent emphasis on machine learning-driven solutions for fermentation process optimization and foaming control.
