Christopher Johnson is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Utah State University (USU), affiliated with the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services. He joined USU in 2008 after working at Ohio University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. His research focuses on mindfulness meditation mechanisms, technology-mediated mental health interventions, and HIV/AIDS psychosocial factors. He mentors both traditional and distance students across USU's statewide campuses.

His recent work appears in AIDS Care and Archives of Sexual Behavior. He actively collaborates with USU's Regional Campus System to bridge research and education statewide.
