Christopher J. Craig is a Professor and Blind and Low Vision Program Director at Missouri State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Special Education from Vanderbilt University and has dedicated his career to advancing educational outcomes for individuals with disabilities.

Research Interests
Dr. Craig focuses on early literacy promotion for children with disabilities, emphasizing family involvement in home literacy processes. His work explores assistive technology for the blind, including devices like the BrainPort. Recently, he developed the post-secondary program Bear POWER for students with intellectual disabilities and collaborates on campus diversity initiatives.

He is also a singer-songwriter performing with the band Hendrix and Craig and collaborating with children’s author David Harrison.
