Dr. Christopher Dillon is a Senior Lecturer in Modern German History at King's College London, specializing in Nazi Germany, political violence, and masculinity. His research examines the SS, concentration camps, and counter-revolutionary movements.

Research: His AHRC-funded doctoral project analyzed Dachau as a 'school of violence' for the SS. Current work investigates Bavaria's experience during the 1918/19 revolution, exploring defeat, radicalization, and paramilitary responses.
Publications: His book 'Dachau and the SS: A Schooling in Violence' (Oxford UP) examines perpetrator training and institutional brutality. Recent articles probe masculinity in Nazi political culture and revolutionary dynamics in post-WWI Germany.
Teaching: Supervises Ph.D. topics on fascism, political violence, and modern German history. Teaches courses on Nazi Germany, Weimar Republic, and European political cultures.
