Christopher DeVault

Christopher DeVault is a Professor of English at Mount Mercy University, specializing in modern and contemporary British and Irish literature, particularly the works of James Joyce. He holds a PhD from the University of Miami, an MA from Georgetown University, and a BA from Wake Forest University. His research focuses on ethical and political dimensions of Joyce’s writings, including his book Joyce’s Love Stories (2013) and ongoing projects on mourning in Joyce’s works.
