Christopher Bader is Professor and Chair of the Department of Sociology at Chapman University, with joint affiliations to the Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and the Argyros College of Business and Economics. He serves as Associate Director of the Association of Religion Data Archives (ARDA), the world's largest religion survey archive, and is affiliated with the Institute for Religion, Economics and Society (IRES). His research has been funded by the Templeton Foundation and Lilly Foundation.
