He is a core faculty member of the Center for Statistics and the Social Sciences. His research focuses on political economy, health policy, and quantitative methods. He led the COVID-19 State Policy Project, analyzing pandemic responses across U.S. states. His work appears in journals like BMJ Open, The Lancet, and Nature Medicine.
