Christophe Pierre is the Jess H. Davis Endowed Chair and Professor in Mechanical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology. He holds a Ph.D. from Duke University and a Diplôme d'Ingénieur from École Centrale Paris.
Research Focus: Pioneering work in structural dynamics, vibration localization, and aeroelasticity. Developed widely used vibration prediction codes licensed to jet engine manufacturers.
- Awards: Fellow of National Academy of Inventors, American Academy of Mechanics, and ASME; N. O. Myklestad Award
Leadership: Former Provost of Stevens and Dean at McGill University. Graduated 35+ doctoral students and authored 300+ publications with 15,000+ citations.
