Christoph van den Berg

Christoph van den Berg is an Artistic Professor at the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art (HSLU DFK), collaborating 50% with Monica Studer under the collective 'Studer / van den Berg.' His work focuses on digital art, interactive media, and generative systems, with particular emphasis on augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and installations exploring human-machine interfaces. He has exhibited globally, including at the FMR Festival (Linz), HEK Basel, and Städtische Galerie Nordhorn.

Key projects include the Wolfskind Project (a mockumentary on AI history), HALLUC (a VR exploration of machine hallucinations), and be one of us (an AR urban intervention with Roche). He contributed to the 2021 Pax Art Awards-winning Swiss Media Art exhibition. His research critically examines digital consciousness, alternative energy systems, and the intersection of technology with nature.
