Christoph Wunck

Christoph Wunck is a Professor of Business Informatics at the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer, affiliated with the Faculty of Technology, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He also serves as Production Department Head and Scientific Director at the OFFIS Institute for Informatics at the University of Oldenburg, and sits on the advisory board of the Fiber Institute at the University of Bremen. His research focuses on Manufacturing Intelligence, Digital Business Ecosystems, and Sustainable Manufacturing.

Key research areas include leveraging Industrial IoT, Data Mining, and Machine Learning to derive business-relevant insights from manufacturing data, and developing secure data architectures for digital business ecosystems. He leads projects such as the Zukunftslabor Produktion (Future Lab Production), EDNA (Edge Data Economy in Sustainable Automated Manufacturing), and ThermoTwin.

Awarded Fellow status by the IEOM Society and recognized as an IEEE Senior Member, he actively contributes to academic governance through memberships in the VHB's Business Informatics and Production Management commissions.
