Christoph Stettler

Christoph Stettler is an Associate Lecturer at the Institute of Building Technology and Energy (IGE) within the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture at HSLU T&A. He completed a Bachelor's degree in Building Technology (2012) and a Master's in MSE Building Technology (2016), both from HSLU T&A. His expertise lies in thermal and hydraulic simulations, energy-efficient building systems, and district heating networks. He has been a scientific employee at IGE since 2017 and previously worked as a research assistant at the Zentrum für Integrale Gebäudetechnik (ZIG).

His research focuses on thermal networks, heat recovery in ventilation systems, pressure surge mitigation in pipelines, and optimizing low-temperature systems. He teaches simulation modules and BIM-related courses to Bachelor students since 2013. He serves as a Board Member of IBPSA Schweiz and represents it internationally since 2019. His recent publications address network topology innovations and energy efficiency in thermal systems.
