Christoph Seibert

Christoph Seibert is a Professor of Music Informatics at the Institute for Music Informatics and Musicology, Karlsruhe University of Music, and a Visiting Scholar at the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics. He holds a doctorate from Karlsruhe (2014) and degrees in Musicology (Heidelberg) and Sound/Image Technology (Düsseldorf). From July 2023 to March 2025, he served as Vice Rector for Research and Networking.

His transdisciplinary research integrates philosophy, empirical methods, and technology. Key interests include:
